All you nations, sing out your joy to the Lord:
Alleluia, Alleluia!

extolling God's marvellous fame;
Honour God's name, in highest heaven give praise:

Come forth and see all the great works
that God has brought forth by his might;
Fall on your knees before God's glorious throne:

Shepherd Me, O God (Marty Haugen)

Refrain:

Shepherd me, O God,
beyond my wants,
beyond my fears,
from death into life.
God is my shepherd,
so nothing shall I want,
I rest in the meadows
of faithfulness and love,
I walk by the quiet waters of peace. (Refrain)

Gently you raise me
and heal my weary soul,
you lead me by pathways
of righteousness and truth,
my spirit shall sing
the music of your name. (Refrain)

Though I should wander
the valley of death,
I fear no evil,
for you are at my side,
your rod and your staff,
my comfort and my hope. (Refrain)

You have set me a banquet of love
in the face of hatred,
crowning me with love
beyond my pow’r to hold. (Refrain)

Surely your kindness and mercy
follow me all the days of my life;
I will dwell in the house of my God
forevermore. (Refrain)

Setting of Psalm 23 (Dominus regit me).

Refrain:
Speak, Lord, I love to listen to your voice.
See, Lord, here I am.
1. My heart is silent, Lord. My soul is still,
waiting upon your voice. Tell me your will.
Empty, I place myself before your face.

Because the Lord is my shepherd (Psalm 23 / Walker)

1. Because the Lord is my shepherd,
I have ev’ry thing I need.
He lets me rest in the meadow and leads me
to the quiet streams.
He restores my soul and he leads me
in the paths that are right:

Refrain
Lord, you are my shepherd,
you are my friend.
I want to follow you always,
just to follow my friend.
2. And when the road leads to darkness,
I shall walk there unafraid.
Even when death is close I have courage,
for your help is there.
You are close beside me with comfort,
you are guiding my way: (Refrain)

3. In love you make me a banquet
for my enemies to see.
You make me welcome, pouring down honor
from your mighty hand,
and this joy fills me with gladness;
it is too much to bear: (Refrain)

4. Your goodness always is with me
and your mercy I know.
Your loving kindness strengthens me always
as I go through life.
I shall dwell in your presence forever,
giving praise to your name: (Refrain)

Center of My Life (Paul Inwood)

Refrain:
O Lord, you are the center of my life
I will always praise you

My happiness lies in you alone,
My happiness lies in you alone." (Refrain)

I will bless you, Lord, you give me counsel,
And even at night direct my heart.
I keep you, Lord, ever in my sight
Since you are at my right I shall stand firm. (Refrain)

And so my heart rejoices, my soul is glad
Even in safety shall my body rest
For you will not leave my soul among the dead,
Nor let your beloved know decay. (Refrain)

At your right hand, at your right hand
Happiness forever. (Refrain)

My God, My God, O Why Have You Abandoned Me? (Psalm 22) [Marty Haugen]

Antiphon:

My God, my God,
O why have you abandoned me?
All who see me laugh at me,
they mock me and they shake their heads:
"He relied on the Lord,
let the Lord be his refuge." (Antiphon)

As dogs around me,
they circle me about.
Wounded me and pierced me,
I can number all my bones. (Antiphon)

My clothing they divided,
for my garments casting lots,
O Lord, do not desert me,
but hasten to my aid. (Antiphon)

I will praise you to my people,
and proclaim you in their midst,
O fear the Lord, my people,
give glory to God's name. (Antiphon)

上主是我的光明, 阿路路亞 (The Lord Is My Light And My Help, Alleluia!)

Psalm 23: My Shepherd is the Lord (Gelineau)

Antiphon: My shepherd is the Lord, nothing indeed shall I want.

The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I shall want.
Fresh and green are the pastures
where you give me repose.
Near restful waters you lead me,
to revive my drooping spirit. (Antiphon)

You guide me along the right path;
you are true to your name.
If I should walk in the valley of darkness
no evil would I fear.
You are there with your crook and your staff;
with these you give me comfort. (Antiphon)

You have prepared a banquet for me
in the sight of my foes.
My head you have anointed with oil;
my cup is overflowing. (Antiphon)

Surely goodness and kindness shall follow me
all the days of my life.
In the Lord's own house shall I dwell
for ever and ever. (Antiphon)

Words: Psalm 23 (Dominus regit me), English translation by The Grail (1963)
Music: Joseph Gelineau (1920-2008)
